ENERGY AND EFFLUENT SEMINAR
The Lower Blackwood LCDC and Southern Dirt hosted a free Energy and Effluent presentation at the Karridale Tavern on Thursday June 21st from 4-6pm. The presentation will give farmers insight into latest technologies and innovations that could benefit their farming properties.
Presenter Caleb Martin from Greenlands Equipment spoke about on-farm applications suited to solar energy systems such as farm infrastructure, centre pivots and water pumping. Also covered were alternative effluent management solutions and the latest separation and distribution technologies available.
Biodigesters are an innovative and exciting solution to both effluent management and energy needs and the AgGrow Group provided an insight into how they work, why they work, their benefits and examples of biodigesters in action.
