DESCRIPTION:\nCome join us for a sundowner and a paddock walk with Healthy Estuaries WA & Soil Wise team members Rob McFerran and Dr Deborah Holtham from the Department of Water & Environmental Regulation, to review one of eight elimination strip trials sites. The trials ulitmately aim to:\n\n\n\n\nTest national critical soil test K and S values for relevance to south-west WA.\n\n\n\nPromote best practice in sustainable agriculture and increase confidence in farmers and industry in evidence-based fertiliser recommendations.\n\n\n\nPromote the efficient use of fertiliser products to ensure their potential is maximised on farm and losses to waterways are minimised.\n\n\n\n\nIncluded in the session will be a demonstration on how to take plant samples for tissue testing. \n\n\n\nAttention to 2022/2023 Healthy Estuaries WA Soil Testing Program Participants\n\n\n\nIf you participated in the Healthy Estuaries WA Soil Testing program last year, you are entitled to free plant tissue testing on four paddocks of your choice. Attend this event to collect your sample pack and instructions on how to take samples. Your plant test results will be sent to agronomist for interpretation.\n\n\n\nEvent Logistics\n\n\n\nWhen? Thursday 5 October, 4.30pm to 6.00pm\n\n\n\nWhere? Drive to the corner of Campbell & Coffey Rd, Warner Glen 6288. Park in the paddock where indicated by the parking sign. \n\n\n\nCost?
