DESCRIPTION:\nJoin fellow farmers & DPIRD Officers to learn how to collect accurate soil samples on your farm.\n\n\n\nBy the end of the day you will know how to:\n\n\n\n\nTake accurate soil samples that represent your farm.\n\n\n\nSet-up the sampling drill and auger.\n\n\n\nGPS your sample locations.\n\n\n\nUse sample bags correctly.\n\n\n\n\nThis training is mandatory for all participants of the Healthy Estuaries WA and Soil Wise DIY soil sampling program, but everyone is welcome.\n\n\n\nGet ready! To prepare for the day and get the best out of it you will need to:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWatch the short training videos before attending the field day.\n\n\n\nRespect biosecurity on our host’s property.\n\n\n\nDress appropriately (hat, boots, fly net etc.).\n\n\n\nBring a water bottle and sunscreen.\n\n\n\nIf possible, bring a charged smart phone or tablet with a SIM card slot (doesn’t need a sim).\n\n\n\nInstall FileMaker Go 19 if using iPhone or iPad.\n\n\n\nIf possible, bring a charged battery drill.\n\n\n\n\nEvent Logistics\n\n\n\nWhen?
