<p>I’m working on my soil, amendments and liming every year. </p>
<p>any particular amendment I need to increase?</p>
<p>in the autumn, should I till it and then seed? Or direct drill into it?</p>

<p>I haven’t heard this discussed very much – what time of year to begin applying Compost tea brews etc. at the moment it’s very wet and in a lot of our paddocks you couldn’t take anything heavier than a quad on them as they are so waterlogged. So it’s seems that winter is mostly out? So is it then spring&hellip;</p>

In a paddock we want to cut hay in, is it a good practice to give it one light graze over with cattle and then leave it till hay time? Or just keep the gate locked until hay cutting time? </p>

How to deal with it without herbicide?</p>
<p>in one paddock in year one &#8211; we put free range pigs across it and that cleared some patches. </p>
<p>year 2 I tilled the whole paddock with an offset disc &amp; sowed into that. </p>
