Revegetation Post-Planting Care and Maintenance Workshop

Join us and special guest from CapeLife, Brook Devine, for a 1/2 day workshop all about how to care for your revegetation site post-planting.

This incudes:

• What is required post-planting for direct seeding and planting
• How to make sure your plants have enough water
• Maintenance of weeds
• What equipment is going to be practical and helpful to support your saplings
• Preparation for common scenarios (like a long, dry summer)
• And much more!

We will meet at our offices at 9am for a short talk from Brook and some morning tea. A bus will take us out to a recently planted riparian revegetation site where Brook will give some applications from his talk, little tips and tricks of the trade. We’ll also see a practical demonstration of revegetation weed control and application of soil wetter and liquid fertiliser. We’ll wrap things up back at the LCDC Office with some lunch, so don’t rush off!
