| Your Story | We run a small family owned organically certified mixed farm in Roelands. The farm consists of a 500 tree citrus orchard, plus a small market garden. Chickens and cattle also form part of our farm. We are currently in the process of regenerating what was a run down piece of land. Our aim is to run a diverse farm that has a variety of enterprises and is improving the land as we progress. We have planted shelterbelts that have changed the complexion of the paddock which we are very happy with – there is a lot more to go. A local food system is also something we are keen on being a part of in the future. I have attended a number of your field days, courses and marvel at the quality of people that you have been able to entice to WA. We are starved of local opportunities, so I have had to travel to be a part of your belief in what we could do in the South West. |
