G’day Louis, Kate Tarrant mentioned you have had some luck with using stock to trample in seed rather than cultivate. I was thinking of dry seeding some vineyard inter rows in February when there are a few bare spots. Cant get the sheep in until mid March after the fruit is picked.

That sounds like a great mix of species Murray.
We dry seed the inter rows in late summer, when all the weeds are dead, to avoid tilling.

We converted a small rotary hoe to a strip seeder with tyre drags behind. Seemed to work quite well. I’ll try get a video of it for you.
