paint strainer bag to soak seed in an inoculant before sowing.

Pretty cool, we’ve been spraying it on in a concrete mixer which helps it dry.

It’s an interesting follow-on from Dr James White’s interviews in which he talks about adding endophytes to corn. There is a link to free courses offered by Gowing to Seed (compiled and facilitated by Dr White and colleagues) which I am sure will be worthwhile to many.

I’m re-listening to Kate and Jo’s Talkin After Hours podcast with Nicole Masters, “Talkin Weeds”. Between 26 – 27 minutes they start talking about controlling woody weeds. Nicole mentions Betsie Ross’ (Sustainable Growth Solituins) work with controlling mesquite. She mentions that she had sent the recipe to Kate and Jo. …

Hi Stephen, just posted the webinar version with the presentation notes, you’ll find the mesquite recipe on pages 15 to 17. The recipe she thought would probably work on other woody weeds like blackberry as well.
