Implementing a Nutrition Program for your Pasture

In this Peer Group Session, Program Coach Mark Tupman will explore how an efficient and effective nutritional program for your pastures. This includes:

  • the fundamentals of plant nutrition
  • interpreting your soil tests
  • developing a practical nutritional program
  • using tissue and sap tests to determine the nutritional status of plants 
  • nutrient formulation and application

We’ll wind up the day with a Q & A, and some networking drinks and snacks.

What Else? BYO refillable drink bottle, wear appropriate CLEAN farm footwear and dress for the weather. Please note that this event is open ONLY to current and past participants of the Lower Blackwood LCDC’s Regenerative Agriculture in Practice Program.

This event forms part of the Lower Blackwood LCDC’s Regenerative Agriculture in Practice Program which is supported through the Augusta Margaret River Shire’s Environmental Management Fund.     Mark Tupman
    Agroecologist, Productive Ecology

    Mark Tupman is a consultant and educator in the fields of biological production, permaculture, regenerative agriculture and holistic land management, with an abundant backyard!

    Over the last three decades, he has been actively involved in a mix of training, research and community projects, and commercial horticulture, livestock and cropping operations.

    Aside from time spent on the ground, he is a regular speaker, advisor and content creator for various organisations around Australia. Through his business, Productive Ecology, he assists gardeners, farmers and companies to implement more economically and environmentally viable production systems, that are examples of what can be achieved by working with life.
