As an Environmental Scientist and recently moving down from Perth to Balingup and driving around the region I am shocked to see how many native wildlife are lost to Road Kill. I’ve counted 15 kangaroos, 4 bandicoots, 2 Whitetails, 1 Red tail, 2 magpies, 1 raven in the last 2 months. There is hardly any signage warning for wildlife. No signage to slow down. People speed at 10km over the limit everywhere, and often the wildlife is left in the middle of the road.

Suggestions – Propose more wildlife signage in areas of nature corridors. We have kangaroos, bandicoots, swamp hens and Cockatoos often on our road. Is it possible to request a wildlife sign.
