Podcast Recording: Talkin’ Soil to Strategy with Joel Williams

There’s no shortage of information out there about soil health – soil biology, plant nutrition, soil tests, inputs, nutrient cycling and more. But how do you work out what actually matters on your farm, and what to do next?

In this episode of Talkin’ After Hours, Jo chats with internationally recognised soil and plant health educator and consultant Joel Williams about moving from soil knowledge to practical farm strategy. They explore how to identify what might be limiting your farming system, make sense of soil test results, use simple observations and on-farm trials to guide decisions, and look beyond product claims to ask a more useful question: what constraint are you actually trying to address?

Want to take it a step further?

Joel Williams will be joining us in Kudardup on Tuesday 20 October for our Talkin’ After Hours Masterclass: Your Farm in Focus.

Limited to just 10 participants, the day is designed to help you turn soil and plant health knowledge into practical strategies for your own farm. Bring along your questions, challenges and soil and plant test results, and work with Joel to explore what they mean for your farming system and where to focus next.

The Masterclass also includes a private one-on-one online Farm Check-in with Joel following the event.
